A few things here. First off, a couple of us were discussing after the last session that we may want to have a different way to communicate than just the email list. I have gone ahead and set up a live-journal community (because I know quite a few of us, if not all use LJ) which is located at http://www.livejournal.com/community/marimba_gaming/

Secondly, I was wondering if we could push the starting time back to 2 PM. Kari and I can make it home from Church by 1, but we are often a few minutes late. This also allows John to set up maps and what not at our home if he comes at around 1 and gaming doesn't start until 2.

Next, I was wondering what people would like to do for dinner this coming up Sunday. I still have quite a bit of the soda left over from this past sunday, including unopened bottles of Mountain Dew and Sprite.

Finally, where it is going to be held, though John pretty much has the final word on this, and I think he wants it to be at his house this week.

2pm works for tod and me. as for dinner, i haven't really thought much about it yet, but i like most foods. do you and/or kari want to play chef this week, or does someone else? or should i pull another crock pot recipe out of my books?

oh, and i will be bringing another cake to gaming this week 1) for john, since he requested ice cream cake and 2) for marie having a job! woo!
so... gaming should be at the vibbert/crick household so that marie gets cake (:

oh, if people have suggestions/preferences as to cake flavors or ice cream flavors, feel free to give them. right now, i'm thinking of improvising a samoa flavored ice cream cake (except i don't think samoa ice cream is available this time of year). so, that means caramel, chocolate, coconut (though that will only be on part of the cake, so the other part is marie-tummy-friendly), and some sort of shortbread like substance (might just use fudge stripe cookies crumbled).

We were considering making some quiche for dinner. Also, we were able to buy samoa ice cream a few weeks ago, so you may be able to find some as well. And I guess it looks like it is settled on being at John's house.

I think we were planning on making 3 or 4. I'm not sure about toppings really. We just made it without any toppings, but with some ground beef put into the egg mix. I think we were planning on a beef one, one with ham, and one with veggies. Kari might be the one to ask though.

*laughs* refrigerator pie

I was thinking about ground beef, bacon, chedder cheese, and maybe tomato for one (a sort of baconcheeseburger quiche... quite tasty), and maybe a ham and swiss cheese one, perhaps a chicken (with other undetermined ingredients) one, and a random veggie one. I am willing to take suggestions if someone has a hankering for a specific filling or is allergic to chicken or whatever.
